About

Julia Chambers is a crochet designer in the Austin, TX area with a background in music and writing.  Generally whimsical with an appreciation for memories, learning something new, as well as the quirky things of life, “The Difference Between A Duck” is Julia’s reflective escape from the more serious side of Life, making room for the fun, the inspirational, interesting and the precious.

With over 32 years of crochet and piano in her life, and a family far too familiar with cancer, Julia’s crochet work is often designed for chemo patients and charity too.  You can find her elsewhere online as BikerMom on Ravelry, her stores at www.PixieWorx.Etsy.com and www.Zibbet.AberrantCrochet.com and her crochet/art world blog at www.AberrantCrochet.wordpress.com.

Woah. You know, yesterday when I drove my browser right into your crochet blog and read the post about Mr. Sanchez, I thought it was very decent of you to do that.

Today, after checking out your “About” section, I find out you also use your talents to help cancer patients. I’m a cancer survivor. Been cancer-free for a little over 12 years now. I just have to ask…

In how many different ways do you completely rock? I’m counting at least 2. Oh, your “About” section is written in the third person, so better make it at least 3. Take care! 🙂

I don’t think I can answer that – but thank you Siegfried! And congrats on 12+ years cancer free! 😀 Did you see my link for Spirit Jump? It’s a great cause. I’m glad you did run into my blog – and thanks for making my day!

      Live vibrant and strong friend…

      Blessings,
      Julia
